Just a very brief second hand report.
Once again another very pleasing performance on a difficult pitch. In midfield we out battled BJFF allowing us to have a majority of possession.
At half time the score was 1-1 with Liam scoring our goal. With the pitch not being condusive to good football we showed that we can also win games 'ugly' and we went on to score 2 more goals (both from George) to make the final score 3-1.
From all reports it was a very workman like performance with the lads having to show their battling qualities to gain hte victory and subdue any real threat from BJFF.
Well done once again for a great victory. We have always said that if the lads put in 100% effort their footballing ability will shine through. Today was not exactly ideal for flowing football so it was the all round effort that won us the game.
MoTM awards went to Josh (parents) for another solid performance. Managers went to Liam for his opener and his goalkeeping performance in the 2nd half.
